Wow! 2 followers! Someday I'd like to hit 10! I am hoping this summer I can really get a handle on this blogging and learn how to put some of my own printables and freebies on line. Watch for it!

Anyway, I will post a whole bunch of photos of my classroom and ideas!! I love posting photos of what I am doing with my kids in our classroom. This is my favourite thing to look at on other people's blogs. I collect so many ideas from just looking at photos of other peoples classrooms!

I also wanted to share a photo of my fur baby! This is Ruby!
Ruby is my Bassett Hound. She is 7 years old and she is my very spoiled baby!
Her favourite spot is the window seat. This is her lounging and napping spot.

                                                           SCIENCE  BLASTERS!

These are my little scientists in their Lab coats, ready for our next science experience!
I love teaching science! The children's faces when something amazing happens is just the icing on    the cake for me!

This is our first "lesson". We talked about gravity and what would happen to the leaves when we throw them up in the air? The kids LOVED this! We played in the leaves. We walked in the leaves and listened to the crunching sound. We smelled the leaves. We looked at the leaves. The lesson involved our 5 senses and the Fall season.
This was our first chemical reaction experiment. We blew up the balloon with vinegar and baking soda. As you can see by the photo some of my little boys were so impressed!

This was our owl pellet experiment! The children picked through a sterilized owl pellet and tried to figure out if the bones were from a mouse or a small bird.  Look at how engaged they ALL are! They were really intrigued with the entire owl unit!

This was our GAK experiment! We made GAK with white glue, Borax, water and food colouring. The children were so amazed! They especially loved that they got to take their GAK home!

That's all for now!
